Restaurant Manager - Brambles Restaurant

More about the role:-

We are looking for individual with personality, someone who is passionate about food and service and has had the ability to inspire and develop their team to delight our guests.

We are looking to recruit and experienced Restaurant Manager for our exclusive Brambles Seafood and Grill Restaurant. The ability engage with and inspire all of our awesome Food and Beverage team members is a must for this role.

You will have a minimum of 3 years Restaurant Manager experience and be able to demonstrate a track record of nurturing and developing your teams, delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Scope of Job:
  • To lead team to deliver the highest level of service at all times to delight our guests.
  • To work within the F+B management team to deliver high standards of stock management cost control and delivery of restaurant budgets
  • Prepare work rotas and ensure that staffing levels are correct and within set budgets corresponding to the weekly business.
  • Assist with the recruitment, induction, training, appraisals and development plans for all teams.

Front of House Manager - Auchrannie Resort

Voted in the Times Best 50 Places to Work in Scotland 2020, Auchrannie Resort is looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic and driven Front of House Manager to manage and oversee the smooth operation of our Reception, Reservations, ASPA and Country Club.

Prior experience of Reception and Reservations Management in a 4 star + environment is a must for this role, and you will be able to demonstrate a track record of nurturing and developing your teams, delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Scope of Job:

  • To support the BDM with the smooth running of the Reception, Reservations, ASPA, Country Club and Business Development Team
  • Identifying and actioning Training & Development needs of individuals within the team, ensure all team members are delivering five-star awesome customer service.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new team members.
  • Ensure that SOP’s for all departments are relevant, comprehensive and robust.
  • Provide front line cover as required to all the above-named departments
  • Assist in ensuring the most efficient systems and processes are being used within the team and recommend and implement changes as required.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Reception Team Leader - Auchrannie Resort

We are preparing to re-open the resort in a few weeks time and we are looking for an experienced Reception Team Leader to join our team. We are looking for someone who has a experience as a Reception Supervisor or Team Leader gained working in a 4/5* hospitality business.

As well as providing guest service excellence at all times you will support our team members with training, upskilling and development . You will work across our Spa Hotel and House Hotel Reception Desks as well as supporting our ASPA, Country Club and Reception and Reservations Management team to ensure the smooth operation of the department on a daily basis.

Main duties include:-

- To provide front desk reception welcome and services to guests.
-Handle room, restaurant, spa and adventure reservations both via telephone and email.
-Update third party and specialist contract availability and rates. Process walk-in, telephone and email voucher sales as well as general administrative duties within the department.
- Helping towards the training and development of any new members of the team as well as on the job coaching
-Introduce training and information guides when necessary as well as making sure the current guides are accurate and up to date.
-Regular and consistent communication with reception team members about departmental and resort updates
- Help with the compilation of rotas ensuring they are provided at least three to four weeks in advance and are clear and accurate.


As well as an attractive salary of £9.91 per hour  you will receive full leisure membership, resort discounts and a share of resort tips (paid quarterly). After 1 years service you will be eligible to be part of our Employee Ownership bonus scheme. Full uniform is provided for this position

The working pattern for this position is usually 5 days from 7 on a rolling rota basis. You must be available to work weekends and evening shifts.

Receptionist - Auchrannie Resort

You will be outgoing and passionate about delivering excellent service to delight our guests. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and comfortable to use their own initiative to manage guest queries and deliver an exceptional overall experience. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role as you will spend a lot of time interacting with guests.

Main duties include:-
-To provide front desk reception welcome and services to guests.
-To take bookings and enquiries as required and if the reservationist is unavailable.
-To liaise with other departments across the Resort to ensure all guest needs are met.
-To provide excellent Resort and local knowledge to advise guests on ways to enhance their stay.
-To maintain the cleanliness and ambience our Reception areas

Maintenance Technician - Auchrannie Resort

We are preparing to re-open the resort in a few weeks time and we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Reporting to the Estate Manager & Maintenance Team Leader, our Maintenance team are responsible for ensuring that all areas of Auchrannie Estate are maintained to an excellent standard and that any work is completed with minimal disruption to the business.

The ideal candidate should have all round maintenance skills and willingness to learn new skills on the job. Applicants should have experience working in a similar role, and trade qualifications would be preferred.

You would be working to a rolling rota including weekends and on call support.

Summary of responsibilities:-

• Adhering to the work and schedules of Auchrannie leisure Ltd, ensuring appropriate communication, standards and efficient working practices. It is also important that targeted work schedules are understood and adhered to.

• Ensure the Company Maintenance Logs are regularly accessed and the work completed promptly and efficiently. Updating ticketing systems and communicating with those who have entered the problems is essential.


• Ensure that all properties, owned or managed by Auchrannie Leisure Ltd and under your supervision are kept in an excellent state of repair internally and externally including guest / staff accommodation, workshops and other associated areas. A safe environment, for staff and guests alike, is top priority. All within the guest’s expectation of a 4/5 star experience.


• Ensure excellent communication and courtesy is extended with both internal and external customers at all times.


• Liaise with the Estate Manager, Maintenance Team Leader and other appropriate Auchrannie managers to ensure that maintenance works are appropriately programmed to minimise impact to guests or company income.


• Ensure that all spoil and materials are cleared from jobs immediately and work areas left clean and tidy at all times. This may involve communication with Housekeeping dept.


Health & Safety

• Liaising with the Directors, Estate Manager & Maintenance Team Leader, be aware of systems to satisfy legislative requirements and ensure that all necessary measures are taken to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests in all matters relating to the maintenance team and their impact on other persons on the estate.


Establishment and Legislative Requirements

• You are required to liaise with the Estate Manager to ensure that all establishment rules and procedures as laid out in standards manuals, staff handbook, health and safety policy, fire plan and any other documentation brought to your attention is followed by all members of the team.

Guest Services Manager - Auchrannie Resort

We currently have a vacancy for a Guest Services Manager (GSM) to join our Front of House Duty Management Team. Reporting to the Resort Manager you will be part of a small team of Guest Services Managers who play a critical role in ensuring we deliver service excellence across the resort.

Your time will be split between working behind the scenes looking at and responding to our guest feedback and you will also perform a key guest facing role as a duty manager. When you are performing the role as duty manager you will be responsible for the overall resort including responding to any emergency situations as well and to supporting key operational departments including our Restaurants, Reception and Housekeeping Teams to ensure we are delivering excellent service.

Scope of Job:
  • Ensuring and providing friendly, professional attentive guest service experiences at all times
  • Analyzing customer feedback and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating
  • Responding to guests needs and anticipating opportunities to add value to the guest experience.
  • To provide operational support to front and back of house teams as required.
  • Be comfortable handling emergency situations
Ideal Candidate

  • You will be an excellent communicator and have experience of complaint resolution gained within a 4/5* hospitality environment
  • You will have the ability to built strong working relationships with team members and managers from across the business.
  • We are looking for a people focussed manager who takes time to engage with all of our team members and identify areas for development.
  • Previous hands on experience working in different areas of hotel management would be an advantage
  • Existing knowledge of compliance, health and safety and first aid preferred
  • Hardworking, trustworthy and flexible
